Top Bike TV en route to europe, shortly 25/03/11
it's getting cooler in Melbourne, and I just packed 5 bikes into boxes yesterday, which can mean just one thing, we're going to europe this weekend.
Ride routes have to be planned, hotels checked, menus and wine lists perused, amongst many other menial tasks (I know, I know, it's tough gig, but someone has to do it).
Once our season gets under way, with the Giro d'Italia, May 7, we'll be sending reports daily. Nothing new, just the usual Race, Skippy, and Cuisine reports, along with a small amount of euro-quirk, or whatever amuses us in our travels. Stand by your inbox, be alert, not alarmed.
We'll also be doing our usual phone reports to 3RRR, and ABC radio whenever possible, and collecting reels of footage for Top Bike TV's next series.
‘Cycling Tips' will be on tour with us during July, so keep an eye on his excellent blog along with Lisa Jacob's ‘Ride Happy'. For those who like a bit more food, watch this one ‘Growling Belly', probably more chocolate based than cycling, but who cares? And follow us on Twitter if you like @DavidOLLE.
