General report Ooh boy, Cavendish will be lucky to get to Paris, even luckier in green. After dominating last year's Tour, he is barely a former shadow of his self. Went backwards in the final 200 metres today, arrived at the team bus, refused to talk to the press, but threw his helmet out. Bad Boy Cavvy.
Skippy report: Cadel in 3rd at 39 seconds, best place he's held, cross your fingers. Simon Gerrans had a good ride today, ie no hospital visit. Mark Renshaw and Brett Lancaster were storming in the final, all riding for other riders, but. Robbie McEwen got his 3rd fourth place, will improve. Mick Rogers at 3 minutes, will also improve.
Tomorrow: Stage 5 Thursday, July 8 185 km Epernay → Montargis Look for us at the start! The Bike Race:
This year's Tour starts in the Netherlands (making that 3 grand tour prologues in a row, for Holland) belts into Belgium, before following a clockwise trace around France, finishing, of course, on the Champs Elysee in Paris. July 3-25, 3,596 kilometres, more than enough for anyone.
