Topbike Tours Giro d'italia Tour May 21-31, 2010
Cadel Evans has confirmed he is racing the 2010 Giro d'italia in May, and that he won't be there to make up the numbers. He is making the 3 week race part of his preparation for the Tour de France in July, much the same as he successfully used last year's Tour of Spain (La Vuelta Espana) as preparation for the 2009 World Championships.
With many riders citing Le Tour as their focus, and staying away from the Italian 3 week race, the 2010 Giro, with it's mountainous course well suited to Cadel, is shaping up to be his best shot at winning his first Grand Tour.
Cadel led the 2002 Giro d'italia (albeit for one day, but it was unforgettable, to say the least), and Topbike Tours were there cheering him on, if you want to be there in May, please contact us asap, more detail here.
